Abstract: TV personality Ryan Seacrest has sold his gorgeous Beverly Hills, California, mansion for $51 million.

The seven-bedroom property was relisted in February for $69.95 million.

The price dropped to $61.995 million in May and then to $5.95 million in September.

The American Idol host purchased the compound with a 9,200-square-foot main house and two guesthouses from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi for $36.5 million in 2012.

The 3-acre property includes a separate gym, pool with lap pool, koi pond, Zen-style gardens and an underground garage.

This luxury home also boasts "beautiful city and ocean views," according to the listing information.

The giant mansion was originally built for actor Laurence Harvey, who later sold it to actress Joan Collins.

It was then bought by Will & Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick and eventually sold to DeGeneres and De Rossi.

Seacrest also has a five-bedroom house languishing on the market in Beverly Hills for $3.995 million.

The home, built in 1957, was relatively modest and needed some remodeling.

Originally listed in February for $5.8 million, this smaller home offers the opportunity to remodel or rebuild and creates a spectacular value/advantage to the listing statement.

It sits on one acre and features views across the Los Angeles basin.

Seacrest bought the home in 2012 for $3 million and could have made nearly $1 million if he had come close to his asking price.
