Abstract: Football legend Darren Sproles has put down roots in sunny Southern California.

The diminutive former running back recently bought a home in Tarzana, California for $4.65 million.

After 15 years in the NFL, Sproles retired after the 2019 season.

Now, he can enjoy some well-deserved sunshine in his new five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom, modern farmhouse-style home.

The lovely home spans over 6,000 square feet on a quiet cul-de-sac and offers a range of chic decorative details.

There is a super stylish kitchen island and open bookshelves, stunning light fixtures in every room and even the wardrobes.

This immaculate home sits on a wide, flat lot and is full of smart technical features and first-class finishes.

The Super Bowl champion even took to Instagram to post a picture of himself at home, sitting cosily in front of the TV.

The kitchen has designer appliances, the master bedroom is warmed by a fireplace and the theatre is packed with people for a fun weekend with family and friends.

The master bathroom is also super luxurious with a walk-in shower, two sinks, and a large soaking tub.

Step outside into the lovely courtyard and you'll find a pool and spa, guesthouse, fire pit, and sports court.

Sproles, 39, made his NFL debut with the San Diego Chargers back in 2005.

A versatile weapon on the field, he racked up over 10,000 yards on kicks and returns and over 4,800 yards receiving. He retired from the NFL after six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and then moved up to the team's executive office.

Today, he is the Eagles' personnel consultant, scouting college graduates and free agents.
