Abstract: Oscar-nominated writer, director and producer, Lee Daniels, has finally found a buyer for his metal-clad compound in Beverly Hills, California.

Daniels, who is responsible for many film and television productions, bought his Los Angeles property for $4.9 million in 2018.

Although he is a staunch New Yorker, Daniels has a number of Hollywood projects that bring him to the West Coast regularly.

According to Architectural Digest, he bought the place after realising he needed something more permanent than a hotel suite.

Four years later, the Empire co-executive producer is selling.

Daniels listed the stylish space for $7.24 million in September 2022. The price was recently slashed to $6.24 million and is awaiting sale.

The 5,245-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom home was built in 1952 and underwent a major renovation in 2017 prior to Daniels' purchase.

His designer friend Roxy Sowlaty helped customise the interior to suit his personal tastes, according to Architectural Digest.

It is now a masterpiece of wood, stone and glass, with white, black and grey as the dominant colours.

Artistic details abound in this unique residence.

The foyer has a three-tiered, cascading koi pond under a floating staircase.

The unique kitchen has been thoughtfully designed with black countertops, a large island, high-end appliances and spectacular cabinetry made of natural wood.

The 1,000 square foot penthouse master suite is one of the home's most remarkable spaces.

The oversized windows bring vibrant outdoor views into the room's design.

The suite includes a double-sided fireplace that can be enjoyed from the bedroom or the adjacent lounge area. There is also a luxurious walk-in wardrobe, a dressing room, and access to a large balcony.

The master bathroom has a full glass shower illuminated by a skylight. There is also a soaking tub with a view - complete privacy is ensured by looking out of the sunny picture window onto the rich foliage.

The lush, green 0.8 acre lot includes a car park, two-car garage, large terrace with shaded areas, a swimming pool and designer guesthouse.

At 63, Daniels still maintains a charming New York City flat. In addition to the aforementioned projects, he is noted for the films "The Woodsman", "The Butler" and "America vs. Billie Holiday".

His television projects include "Star" and the reboot of "The Wonder Years". He is the producer of the upcoming horror film "Deliverance".
