Abstract: Meg Whitman, who helped make eBay a multibillion-dollar behemoth and later served as chief executive of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, has put her West Hollywood, California, home up for sale for a million dollars less than she paid for it, according to a report by Dirt.

Whitman bought the two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 2,300-square-foot house for $6.5 million in 2018.

She listed it for her purchase price in 2020 and took it off the market a few months later.

It is now for sale for $5,495,000.

The billionaire is currently serving as the US Ambassador to Kenya, so she spends less time in Southern California.

The lovely all-white flat she is leaving is on the 24th floor of the Sierra Towers building.

Previous residents of this celebrity-studded building include Cher, Sandra Bullock, Matthew Perry and Adam Sandler.

The open floor plan has an elegant great room and a dining space that seems to float above the city.

The living room boasts built-in bookcases and sliding glass doors to a large terrace.

The compact kitchen has marble countertops and stainless steel appliances.

The master bedroom has a private balcony, a walk-in wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a soaking tub.

The views from this side of the building are unparalleled, stretching from the city skyline to the Pacific Ocean.

The building offers concierge services, valet parking, and access to the salt water pool and fitness centre.
