Looking for a little slice of Heaven in the Las Padres National Forest? This cozy, quaint cabin on the creek was the original family cabin within Camp Scheideck! It sits at 4,000 ft. on the North side of the mountain, Reyes Peak. When you are sitting on the porch, and the snow is coming down in the winter, it gets so quiet the sound of the creek even gets softer! This cabin is surrounded by trees such as cottonwoods, Douglas fir, alders, and ponderosa pines. The forest is full of coastal blacktail deer, blue jays, scrub jays and tree squirrels in the mornings. The cabin was originally one single room but has since been transformed into a two bedroom, one bath with living area and full kitchen (fully permitted). Living area, kitchen, and bathroom are located upstairs where entertaining takes place, and both bedrooms are downstairs. Equipped with a free-standing fireplace that heats quickly and also an air-conditioning unit for summer. Also equipped with satellite capabilities. Two sheds included. The land is leased and water comes from community well. Wonderful cabin with a lot of PRIVACY! The Reyes Creek contains trout and is the perfect private fishing spot. No neighbors around, just fish!
