Located a mile from the Beach, one of the first planned communities of Huntington Beach, this iconic neighborhood has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ms. Pixie, the original owner, selected this location in 1962 as the perfect place to raise her family. Her decision was spot on, as the neighborhood still maintains its safety and charm. No through-streets are inside the tract, making it a haven for children. Walking to the Beach, a popular activity back then is still the best way to spend a sunny afternoon.
The home boasts an open floor plan and solid foundation. The kitchen island overlooks the living room, creating a seamless and inviting space for entertaining. Thanks to a large skylight, the living room is filled with natural light. The yard surrounds the living space, and a sliding door from the kitchen leads to a charming covered side patio.
The house features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Freshly painted walls and new carpets make it ready to move in while you plan for future remodeling. Additionally, a massive enclosed sunroom is connected to the living room through a sliding door and provides ample extra space of a few hundred square feet. Although this sunroom is not counted or permitted as living space, it's still a valuable bonus room for multiple purposes.
A lot has changed over the years. Homes have replaced the tomato fields that once surrounded Munster, and the brightly colored striped backrests that used to dot the beach have been replaced with folding beach chairs. However, this particular neighborhood has managed to maintain its vintage beach charm. You can still hear the waves crashing on a big surf day and feel the cool ocean breeze, and now, the area is surrounded by the best schools, shopping, and restaurants.
Ms. Pixie's family has loved this beautiful home, and now it's time for a new family to create their own memories.
