Abstract: After years of trying, Tommy Lee has finally sold his funky rock 'n' roll mansion outside of Los Angeles.

Since 2016, the Mötley Crüe drummer has been sporadically listing his home for up to $6 million. But eventually, the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom, nearly 10,000-square-foot home sold for a much lower price - $3.65 million.

Unfortunately, Lee sold at a loss, as he purchased the Calabasas, California property in 2007 for $5.85 million. He likely invested thousands more to achieve the condo's wild, rock star design.

This tropical paradise sits on a hill and takes full advantage of the property's urban views.

It's also a showcase for nature, as it has an atrium that opens up to fresh air and sunlight through a retractable roof.

In fact, you can glimpse palm trees, koi ponds and other verdant plants from your sofa.

The living space includes a great room, dining area and office, while the kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, a large island and granite countertops. The master bedroom has glass doors that open to the pool and quiet outdoor space.

A walk-in wardrobe and a main, en-suite bathroom similar to a bathroom complete the suite.

Commensurate with the level of the Lee, the lower level has its own sound room, control room and recording studio. The residence also has a home cinema with a licensed bar and wine tasting room.

Sadly for Kruyt's fans, the legendary band disbanded in 2015. But Lee continued to play, releasing a third solo album in 2020.

And his personal life has recently been dissected - his marriage to model-actress Pamela Anderson was made into the 2022 Hulu miniseries Pam and Tommy.
