Abstract: Legendary drummer Stewart Copeland of The Police is looking to rent out his rock 'n' roll home in Montecito, California for $25,000 a month.

The nearly 2,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home is a Spanish-style bungalow called "Casita De Mariposa."

Need to rent a home in the near future? Here's a glimpse inside the lovely Copeland home.

Inside, the house's rustic beams, blonde wood and white tones blend the coolness of California with the style of a modern farmhouse.

Located in the Lower Village area of Montecito, this charming estate is one of the coveted enclaves for locals, with big names like Rob Lowe, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah Winfrey living here.

Luxurious details in the living room include beautiful curved windows and a fireplace. Meanwhile, the kitchen has a deep apron sink and funky open shelves.

The spacious master bedroom also has a fireplace with seating. The master bathroom has two sinks and a walk-in marble shower.

The lower level has many multi-purpose rooms that can be used for a variety of functions - such as a home office or studio.

Lush green gardens, stately oaks and lush vines climb the columns of the courtyard. A lovely tiled pool and spa add to the fantastic grounds.

Copeland, now 71, has worked with a wide range of artists and created a number of acoustic tracks since The Police broke up in the mid-1980s.

Although The Police are often thought of as a British band, Copeland himself was born in the United States and was a founding member of The Police, along with vocalist Sting and guitarist Andy Summers.

Formed in 1977, the group sold more than 75 million albums and recorded several number one hits, including "Roxanne", "Every Breath You Take" and "Message in a Bottle". The trio disbanded in 1984, but left behind an indelible legacy. The six-time Grammy Award-winning group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
