Detailed Introduction Of This Home
During the late 1920’s a land developer subdivided 800 acres of mountainous land into a high class country club exclusively for the use by affluent persons together with a surrounding subdivision of 3,900 cabin lots and 195 roads, alleys and trails for the use of its members and cabin lot owners. By the late 1930’s many of the cabin lots remained unsold and undeveloped costing the developer an immense amount of property taxes. In order to reduce the burden of the property taxes the developer applied for and was approved for a Re-Subdivision in the early part of the 1940’s. This country club and cabin lot subdivision was named Marrland. Currently only a handful of the original cabin lots still remain privately owned and a few were subdivided into the surrounding acreage. All utilities are available and roadway access to each of the cabin lots is guaranteed and has been exclusively reserved to the cabin lot owners. This lot is also part of the 135.6 acres of Parcel F on the map 15 MR 87.
