Johnson Valley is North of CA 247 in the Mojave Desert and North by Northwest of Yucca Valley. Johnson Valley has a range of various desert beauty as far as the eye can see. Johnson Valley is the home of "The Hammer" because it is one of the Largest OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) areas. This area is used by off road enthusiasts and residents. "The Hammer" consists of off road trails from Bessema Mine Rd and south at Soggy Lake. Once a year, a off road desert race called King of the Hammer" uses these trails to find the best of the best Off Road Vehicles. This two week event brings in thousands of people and their dirt toys.
There are no utilities on the property but it is along the Old Womans Springs Road. Electricity is approximately 0.7606 miles West to Big Horn Road. Wells are dug for water and propane is sometimes used for heating and cooking. Solar panels are also an option for power.
