Detailed Introduction Of This Home
Here you will find a little slice of heaven that is tucked away in the Los Padres National Forest! The original family cabin within Camp Scheideck was transformed in 1972 from a single standing room into a fully permitted, cozy, two story home. Nestled up to Reyes Creek, the cabin is surrounded by alder, cottonwood, ponderosa pine and Douglas fir trees! Not only is the creek full of fresh trout to fish, but there are also blacktail deer to hunt with proper licensing. From enjoying a family BBQ to snuggling up by the fireplace, this cabin is sure to help create core memories with loved ones! Snow falls at 5,000 feet, however, since this cabin sits on the north side of the mountain, it sees snowfall at 4,000 feet! The snow is so beautiful and calming. Even the creek becomes quieter, creating a serene experience. Amongst about 30 cabins throughout the community, this cabin has the most PRIVACY. Extremely rare find in Southern California! No neighbors around, just fish!
