Matt Bellamy, lead singer and guitarist for the rock band Muse, recently put his Southern California mansion up for sale for $5.995 million.
The 3,685-square-foot, six-bedroom, six-bathroom home sits on a gated half-acre lot just minutes from the coast.
Bellamy bought the contemporary-style villa in 2016 for $2.6 million. It's the second home he's purchased in the area, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The stucco home is located in Malibu's Point Dume neighbourhood, an upscale neighbourhood where other celebrities (Anthony Hopkins and Chris Hemsworth, among others) have lived.
The home was built in 1989 and was recently renovated.
When he's not relaxing in Malibu, Bellamy may head to his Los Angeles mansion: the Brentwood estate he bought from retired tennis player Pete Sampras in 2017.
The Malibu home's spacious living room and adjoining family room boast striking details: arched doorways, beamed ceilings and picture windows.
Sliding glass doors off the family room lead to a large fenced-in backyard with a deck and a pool.
The spacious kitchen features tile countertops and flooring, with ample cabinet space to store every gadget and utensil imaginable.
The luxurious master suite features a wood burning fireplace and two walk-in wardrobes. The bathroom includes a glass shower, tiled soaking tub and dual vanities. Take in the suite's ocean and mountain views from the fireplace or soak in the hot tub.
An outdoor staircase on the first floor leads to the backyard.
Enthusiastic hosts will be delighted to find a guest suite with one bedroom and one bath. This additional unit comes with a kitchenette and private entrance.
Other amenities include a three-car garage with sitting area and storage space.
Bellamy, 45, is the lead singer of the Grammy-winning rock band. He is also the bassist for the supergroup Jaded Hearts Club.
